ConnBridge ("iMerge Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd.", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the ConnBridge platform and website at connbridge.in (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, username, and password when you register.
- Business Information: WhatsApp Business Account ID, access tokens, and business profile details you connect to our platform.
- Payment Information: Billing details processed through our payment partners. We do not store full payment card data.
- Communications: Messages, support tickets, and feedback you send us.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and actions performed within the platform.
- Device & Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
- Cookies: Session cookies to keep you logged in and preference cookies to remember your settings. See Section 7 for more details.
1.3 WhatsApp & Meta Data
When you connect a WhatsApp Business Account, we receive and process WhatsApp messages, contact information, and metadata via the Meta WhatsApp Business API. This data is processed on your behalf as a data processor. You remain the data controller for your customers' information.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the ConnBridge platform.
- Process messages and automate workflows on your behalf.
- Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, invoices).
- Send service announcements and product updates (you may opt out at any time).
- Respond to support requests and customer service inquiries.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Analyse usage patterns to improve platform features (using aggregated, anonymised data).
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Sharing & Disclosure
3.1 Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the platform, including cloud infrastructure (AWS), email delivery, payment processing, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to keep your data confidential and use it only for the services they provide to us.
3.2 Meta / WhatsApp
To deliver WhatsApp Business API functionality, your business data and messages are transmitted to and from Meta Platforms, Inc. in accordance with Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests (court orders, government agencies), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ConnBridge, our users, or the public.
3.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. After account deletion:
- Account data is deleted within 30 days.
- Message and contact data is deleted within 60 days.
- Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with applicable tax laws.
- Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+.
- Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plaintext.
- Access tokens are stored encrypted and never exposed in logs.
- Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction: Request that we limit how we process your data.

By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. WhatsApp Business API — Specific Obligations
As a platform that enables WhatsApp Business API usage, ConnBridge and its users must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy and Meta Platform Terms. Specifically:
- Users must obtain proper consent from contacts before sending messages.
- Users must not use the platform to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
- Users must not circumvent Meta's enforcement actions or policies.
- Message templates must comply with WhatsApp's template guidelines.
Violation of these obligations may result in suspension of WhatsApp access and termination of your ConnBridge account.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will also send an email notification to registered users. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
